Based in London, with offices in Fulham and representatives throughout Africa, we were one of the worlds first Africa specialists. Originally our trading name was Africa Archipelago, running tours throughout the entire continent.
Over the years much of our time was being spent in East Africa researching for guidebooks our consultants write. In 1997, having spent the last few years specialising on a continent that was in fact too large to cover in the detail we strived to achieve, we rebranded as Tanzania Odyssey focussing solely on the country Tanzania.
We then reached our objective of offering a level of knowledge about one particular country that no other tour operator could compete with, enabling us to design any itinerary throughout the country that could stand up as the most thorough and well designed tailor made trips on offer.
Today we have departments focussed on all the big game countries that are based on the Tanzania model. Africa Archipelago is the porthole site that connects all these departments together and is therefore one of the most detailed Africa websites on the net.
Our aim has always been to offer a level and style of service that provides our clients with comprehensive, impartial advice as none of our agents work on commission and a level of personal attention to each aspect of their booking, from start to finish.
